The main service consideration is that the WindFree micro-hole panel is delicate — aggressive scrubbing or high-pressure water on the panel can permanently damage the hole pattern. We use only soft brushes and low-pressure chemical spray on WindFree units.

Yes — Samsung has gained significant market share in Malaysia since 2018, especially the WindFree and Boracay series in mid-range condos. The compressor is reliable and most parts (PCBs, fan motors, sensors) are readily available. Samsung's main service weakness in Malaysia is the Wi-Fi/Bixby module, which can fail after a few years — fortunately, this doesn't affect basic cooling and the module can be disabled without impacting normal operation.
