Everything you need to know before installing a new aircond in Malaysia — HP sizing, pipe routing, electrical points, installation costs.

Choosing the Right HP for Your Room
- 1.0 HP: Up to 100 sq ft
- 1.5 HP: 100–200 sq ft (most common)
- 2.0 HP: 200–300 sq ft
- 2.5 HP: 300–400 sq ft
- 3.0 HP: 400–600 sq ft
Always round up if near the top of a range. West-facing rooms need higher HP.
Electrical Point
Every aircond needs a dedicated 15A electrical point. KL Renovator installs one for RM 100 if none exists.
